Toxic is a different kind of lounge / bar. It is tucked away on Sukhumvit Soi 18 at the very end. There are no other bars or clubs at this end, so going to Toxic Bangkok is very private. The concept of Toxic is where it separates itself from the competition. It is nothing like a Go Go bar on Nana or Soi Cowboy. There are no people pushing you to buy anything at Toxic Bangkok and the atmosphere is very nice and relaxed. There are hostesses in the club that sit with you to talk. There is no obligation to buy them drinks.

This is appreciated but they will not ask you to do so. There are 2 places for dancing in Toxic for girls. The drink selection is good and you will find several brands that you will have a hard time finding elsewhere like for example Patron Tequila. Responsible at the bar are 2 cute bartenders that will mix some strong drinks. Snacks and food can also be ordered. Toxic might not be for everybody but it is definitely a refreshing new concept in Bangkok. Toxic also offers memberships.

    checked toxic out last weekend and agree that it is a nice change from all the other places. Nice atmosphere and good looking dancers and not to forget...... strong drinks

    Anyone out there have any comments on the Town lodge. Also any special events in mid November in the Toxic.

    all i know is that they have some nice little suites up in the town lodge including one with a jacuzzi :) i wonder what that is used for. anyway, thats all i know but i think it is all newly renovated and might actually be an excellent option to stay at.

    What are the opening hours of the Toxic club?

    I am arriving at 2 am i the morning and just wundering if I will be in time before Toxic closes.

    If not are there any places nearby at the time of the morning that I can go and relax foe a couple of beers after my travels. Alterntaly are there any massage places open nearby that I can call on there services to help unwind.

    It will take me 2 & 1/2 days to get to Bangkok from my work place on Sakhalin Island, Russia.

    2AM. Well that is probably too late then for Toxic (or any other place that is). Massage places close even earlier. Best thing to do for this time is to call an massage service that come to your hotel (there are hundreds of those). Those are avaible at pretty much anytime. Toxic will have to close at 2 o clock.

    Thank you. I have never arrived in the early hours of the morning before, 2am,. I am sure I will find somewhere that I can get some lubrication. Does the Town Lodge have a bar in reception that you know of.

    Visited there last night for the first time with my TGF, based on the generally good comments about this place.
    Maybe it was just an off night, but I'd say this bar is TOXIC.
    At 11:30 pm on a Friday night, there was one bar waitress and two farang in the entire place only.
    My GF wanted something like a whiskey and coffee, which they could not do. And her second choice would have been a Baccardi Breezer, which was listed on the menu at 200 baht (sells in the market for 49 baht). She passed.
    After standing with us for a moment or two while we tried to decide about drinks from the menu, the bar waitress disappeared. We waited and waited. And then finally I walked up to the standing bar counter, and no one was there, except the two falang. Waited and waited... no one, nothing.
    Finally we got up and walked outside to leave without having ordered anything. The bar waitress was standing outside fiddling with a computer in the hotel lobby just outside the bar entrance. She never looked up or said a word as we left.
    If anyone has been to Toxic lately and has anything good to say about it, I'd like to know.
    It is out of the way, it is small, and the interior is very nicely done and comfortable. But it also seems to be dead as a corpse.

    check out the forum and you will see lots of comments about the current state (that it is pretty much dead since a long time already). Sorry for misunderstanding but its always better to sign up for the forum and look there for updates.

    I cant update all articles on this page all the time but in the forum is place for this.

    well Teddy Bear , maybe you went with your TGF ,the girl there have no chance to get a hook with you morever it Thursday you went.

    I went there with couple of my friends during Saturday quite crowded ,we enjoys very much and manage to hook some girls out for the night.

    I am very interested in the toxic bar. I know of many stories about the place and I would like to hear just what is going on there now. Went there myself a few years ago when it was a really great place to party. It had nude dancing, lots of available girls and even ST rooms etc.....The girls had great attitudes and it was a lot of fun for all ages. So what is it like now.....

    I stayed at town lodge and enjoyed Toxic Bar on ground floor. Like everywhere in Thailand if your not a loud, drunk, asshole your treated great. What I liked was I had my special girl staying in my room and the girls in Toxic were just nice company while my lady slept (too many late nights dancing to Thai music). OK what can I say... nice, safe, 'strong drinks', Jenny I dream about you, great barbecue and just a good place to get quietly drunk and chill. Jenny if you read this... next time I come I've got a shot of Tequila ordered for you (special other girl not included) - good place when alive, interesting conversation when quiet - buy a few drinks for the girls and treat them nice and it's magic !
