The Pent Bangkok

I finally made it to the Pent so here is the report from it:
The Pent Bangkok is a so called Coyote Club. This name was created after the movie with the same name. This movie caused the opening of numerous bars/clubs in Bangkok with a similar concept. Sexy girls that know how to dance, lots of guys drinking, the girls getting drunk, too 
etc. The Pent more or less is set up like a real nightclub. When you enter the place you come directly into a nice lounge room. On the left is a bar, then some stairs down into a space with couches and a stage where a Thai band played cover songs. The band was good. Of course first thing you notice is that there is amazingly beautiful girls sitting around everywhere. Now these are not your normal Thai women but most of them young, a lot of them students, and 90% of them hit a 8-10 in looks on a scale from 1-10.
We went right to the other side of the Pent club though. You pass the lounge, go through another door and come into the club room. There are some bar counters where you can sit and the girls have enough space to dance on the counters. A DJ plays mainly Hip Hop but during the night changes to techno, some Thai songs (but really only some very few) and then back to Hip Hop. The crowd is mixed. There are younger guys in there but there are also older people. It really doesn’t matter here whereas the older ones are probably more liked as they tend to spend more money. On the right side of the club room is another separate room of the same size holding a swimming pool but when I was there nobody was in there or even in that room. Would have been nice to see some of the girls in Bikinis there.
Now the way it works is the following. To go to the pent, either you need to buy a bottle or you become a member. Becoming a member is definitely the way to go as it will safe you a lot of money.
A membership is 20000 Baht and gives you 10 bottles of whiskey plus all mixers are free. This is excellent as normally you spend a lot on the mixers and even though I didn’t check the price of a bottle without being a member I guess it will be in the region of at least 3000 Baht or more.
Coming to the club room you will be approached by the mamasan sooner or later. Nothing is pushy here though.She will ask you if you want a girl to sit with you but if you say no this is no problem… Then again, why come to The Pent if you don’t want one of the pretty hostesses?
There is a room in the back of the Pent club where she will bring you where the girls who are still free are sitting. You can have a look at them and choose one. If you think this is awkward (I do) you can have the mamasan bring a lineup of girls out to your place where you are siting. She will bring 4 girls and you can choose one. If you don’t like the choice, she will bring another four. On weekends I was told this place can get really busy and yo might be in the situation where all the best girl are already taken so don’t come to late or choose to go on Sunday or another day during the week.
Now when you chose a girl she will sit with you and drink from your bottle so you don’t have to buy another drink. You will have to pay for her time. Every 45 minutes that is 300 Baht. I’m not sure but I think if you are not a member this will be more, maybe 350 or 400 Baht.
Anyway. If you come lets say at around 23:00 and stay until the end at midnight you will pay 1200 Baht for the girl’s time. She will drink with you, dance close with you, etc. Most of the girl speak good English but not all. Just ask the mamasan which one can speak it as it will be just half the fun if she doesn’t understand you. Those girls there know how to make you drink, believe me that! And they know how to party. Once the girls get drunk, too this place gets crazy. All of the girls are experienced dancers and you have some absolute eye-candy in there. I really think that this is one of the places in Bangkok with the most beautiful women anywhere. Really nice choice. OK, those kind of places are not cheap but that is the whole concept. The people in there are normally well set up.
The Pent Bangkok is definitely a fun night out but don’t expect it to be cheap.
One word to the pictures. They are not from the Pent As there is an absolute lack of pictures available from this club and also other Coyote bars I posted some pictures from other Coyote Bars here that i could find. Of course they will also not allow you to make to many pictures in there. Don’t try it. Many people don’t want to be seen in there as their wives are waiting at home.
So some of the pictures below are from resort Club which is a Coyote Club on Ratchadaphisek Road, probably the only one that has as beautiful dancers as The Pent. One picture below is from Club Forte, also a Coyote club. Forte is actually the club that kind of started it all. It used to be on Sukhumvit Road but now is located on RCA Road on one end. It has lost a bit of its appeal though compared to The Pent and Resort Club. Anyway. The women you see on the pictures is what you can expect when going to The Pent. Also, many dancers might be seen at one club and at another a few weeks later. They seem to change work places often.

Mamasan is very cool.
Dancers and sit-with-me girls are two different deals.
We played some drinking dice game and the girls got smashed. Can't take them out but you can collect their phone numbers.
The dancers are top shelf and right on the bar in front of your face.
The pool is for parties. Members can rent it
If you got the bucks, it's worth a go. The sit-with-me girls were good company and fun. The dancers are so hot they are scarey!

yes, friday and saturday u gotta come early as there will be lots of people and the girls scarce. Anyway, uspend some extra cash on a private room, surely the mamasan will take care of you.
for the tip: No, it is definitely not necessary to tip on top. There will be nobody who thinks u r cheap. Especially if you are not a member the bll can add up quickly (went there one time without a mambership, ended up paying 7000 baht for one bottle some girls and mixers etc.). And believe me, next time u go, the mamasan will remember exactly that u rented an extra room, how much money u spend etc. She will be that much nicer to u then.
So, u really dont need to tip extra although of course nobody stops u from doing it.
By the way. having a membership gives u 10 bottles of chivas for 20000 baht. As I said earlier for 3 people and one bottle with mixers and girls i spend 7000 baht.....so much better to get a membership. Normally they will make u a dea like this: They will present the bill (lets say 7000 baht), then they will say, pay this OR get a membership and all o ur drinks today will be free. So when u wanna get a membership, go party first, drink a lot and then after negotiate a deal. In a membership ALL mixers are free, too. Its definitely a good deal. The more u come the more they remember you and the more they will accommodate all ur extra requets or requests for certain girls :)

Yes, you are right. In fact, we were 8 people in the private room, and mamasan even came very often to party / dance with us, she mentioned that she was free!
When the bill came, it was 25,000 baht with 3 bottles 6-7 girls private room, from 11:30pm to 2am. Then the mamasan said that if I were member, it would cost me 30,000 baht. So I decided to go for the membership, and have now 7 bottles free !
After paying for the bill and becoming a member, we wanted to go somewhere else to party. Mamasan invited 2 other girls and come with to party with us until 4am for free !

getting one of those girls home then is up to u but once they are with u on a party this is all possible by then. although i have never done it, i know others who have scored. well, who said they are untouchable anyway?

Besides, more is possible with the girls there sometimes so you might even get lucky. Of course, repeat customers have it easier with that :)

if cash is not the problem, then show it. Just go in there and leave a lot of cash, get a nice PR girl (who will try to sell you a membership).......normally my PR will be the one who dispatches the girls after the place closes to go with certain customers (again, this is not a "take me home" place...the girls come with you to party more, dosnt mean that they go home with you). believe me, the pr girls lnow exactly how much money u spend at the pent....and they will remember it.
Then you can go somewhere else with them (normally the tunnel club as it opens late). from the tunnel its up to you if u go home alone or not but u have good chances at this point to not go home alone.....
anyway, these girls are fun and amazingly sexy so its worth it.
i dont know, before having a membership i never took a girl out there......not sure if that makes a difference ....... but i think they mainly just wanna know if u got money or not.

I don't know if Joe Cusack belongs to the group of "stupid white people". In fact he has a point: why pay 30000Bht only to have a girl seated with you? You can spend 2 hours with beautiful girls in one the MP's in Ratchada/Rama IX for one-tenth of this amount!
