Rajadamri Spa Bangkok
Monday, December 25th, 2006 Rajadamri Spa belongs to the lesser known places for tourists but it has been well received by local and long-term Bangkokians alike. On my first trip there I met several nice people there including Japanese and Westerners, all of which come to this place for years already.
I like the atmosphere because the place is not too crowded and it is basically a normal day spa. Rajadamri Spa Bangkok has sauna rooms and big cold pool plunges. It is a noce place to hang out and relax. Then when you are ready you can opt for a Rajadamri Spa massage with one of the available masseuses.
The menu includes a Thai Traditional Massage (TTM) which costs you 400 Baht for 2 hours which is quite a standard price. The rooms are small, like in most massage places, but they are clean and nice. Rajadamri Spa is a better establishment and not like one of the many dodgy massage around Sukhumvit area. Besides the Thai traditional massage, you can also have a Oil Massage at Rajadamri Spa. This will set you back 450 Baht for one hour.
Both massage types available at Rajadamri Spa Bangkok are carried out in excellent quality. Apparently all of the masseuses working here have certificates from Wat Po, the famous institution when it comes to learning Thai massage.
Extras are normally offered. Another area is apparently also available but as always, details can be discussed in the forum.

As it might not be too easy to find when you come the first time, here is a way description:
You have to look for the Big C that is right across the Road from the new Central World Lifestyle shopping center. There is a pedestrian bridge that you can cross if you are on the Central World Side. From Big C keep walking North down Rajadamri Road (direction away from Sukhumvit). You have to look out for a seafood restaurant that is called Dragon Seafood. (more…)
